About Public Knowledge
Public Knowledge Studio is a small design studio based in New Delhi. We primarily work with startups to design brands, landing pages, digital products and experiences. Our work often involves new technologies, and we actively explore new ways of designing and producing digital artefacts — with AI and otherwise. We value thoughtful work, curiosity about new tools and technologies, and learning by doing. Our studio is small by design, and everyone on the team has meaningful influence over the work we do and how the studio evolves.
Location
This position is work from office in our studio in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. Remote or hybrid negotiable for the right candidate.
The Role
This role keeps the studio running. As a project manager at Public Knowledge, you'll own how our projects move — timelines, scope, and the day-to-day coordination that turns a small team's effort into shipped work. You'll be the steady point of contact for founders and clients, translating between their goals and our designers, and making sure nothing slips. We're a small studio working on several startup projects at once, so you'll juggle a lot — and have real ownership over how we plan, communicate, and deliver. This isn't a design role, but you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with designers and founders every day, and an eye for good work goes a long way here.
What you'll do
- Own project timelines, scope, and delivery across multiple startup engagements
- Be the main point of contact for founders and clients — clear, warm, and proactive
- Coordinate the design team day-to-day: briefs, handoffs, reviews, and deadlines
- Spot risks early and keep projects on track without losing the plot on quality
- Improve how the studio plans, scopes, and communicates as we grow
- Help with light studio operations where it makes the team better
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in project management, account management, or producing — ideally in a creative, agency, or startup setting
- Exceptional organisation and communication — you keep many threads straight and make people feel looked after
- Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities
- A genuine interest in design, technology, and how good creative work gets made
- Curiosity about AI and tools that make coordination and delivery smoother
What a Great Fit Looks Like
- You've run multiple creative or web projects at once and kept them on track
- Clients and teammates trust you — you're the person who makes things happen
- You've built or improved a process, not just followed one
- You're comfortable around designers and developers, and you care about the work
- You use tools — including AI — to stay organised and move faster
Perks
- Office lunch
- Access to any AI tool you want to use
- Yearly team offsite (last one was in Bangkok!)
How to Apply
- Send a short note and your CV to careers@publicknowledge.co
- Tell us about a project you ran end-to-end — what made it work?
- No portfolio needed — examples of projects you've delivered are perfect
